The Deep State is an amalgamation of government bureaucrats, agency heads, financiers and industry leaders that effectively governs the United States without reference to the consent of the governed as expressed through the formal political process. The Deep State is committed to hiding the secrets of past administrations, enriching military industrial contractors, and infringing upon our liberties in order to justify its existence. Were it not for the Deep State, Julian Assange would be free, our military budget would be much smaller, and we would not be involved in wars across the globe.
